1) This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 John 4:10
       3) But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities, the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53:5

2) All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned everyone to his own way, and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53:6

4) But as many as received him, to them gave he the power to become the children of God, even to them that believe on his name. John 1:12

A Grave Situation

Where there is most love to God, there will be there the truest and most enlarged philanthropy.     Robert Southey 1774 - 1843

By the Grace of God and the generosity of God's people, we have been able
to give out many Bibles over the years. It is our prayer that thousands of
islanders still waiting for a Bible will receive one soon.

HUMANITARIAN AID. Bibles For the Poor Society is now approved by the Canadian Government for an expanded mandate to include Humanitarian Aid in its activities. While our primary emphasis remains to minister to the needs of those who are spiritually hungry, we are now able to minister to both the spiritual and physical needs of those who are less fortunate.
